7Days Heroes

7Days Heroes is one of the more interesting (Indie games) The visual presentation is one of the biggest draws (You'd think this was a Lost TurboGraxfx 16 CD title) it has those distincted ear markings it's very organic. The music/score is fantastic. The downside of the game it's at times too hard! Maybe i'm getting old but, the other reviewer saying this is easy (i don't agree with that at all) Fought the Golden Eagle Boss died 25x's! I grew-up during the 8bit/16bit/Arcade boom period (it honestly feels like a employee in a Arcade opened the Arcade cabinet and cranked up the difficulty to take more coins) The structure is also convoluted with every chapter you pass you gain a member of your team the AI is very thick! The cost of upgrades is insulting (You will have to go back on map & grind a lot) Hopefully the Developers update elements like $ and the stacked difficulty! There's a lot of charm here but, the glaring issues devalue it!

Very clunky and glitchy game. After you finish some levels, the game will crash and just stay on a blank screen. And the fact that you always get hung up at the top of a ledge is pretty awful. The wall grab and double jump make getting over obstacles and up walls just a pain. Not to mention your companions constantly getting hung up. The game isn't hard, its just frustrating. Spmeone else mentioned AI programming with this game and I'm not sure if it is but I could believe it. I wouldn't recommend this game. It doesn't do anything new to these type of games and what it does do, it doesn't do well. I mean, if you can get it for free, I guess give it a go.

Mostly standard action platformer with the ability to switch between characters to utilize their own set of weapons and abilities. Platforming is a bit clunky/awkward, a number of main menu glitches made me have to reload the game and there is little need to switch between characters throughout the game. This game still has a bit of charm, I believe its by a solo developer? Or small team, curious to see what else they make but this one needed a bit more time/care. *Product Received for Free*
