A Day Without Me

A Day Without Me was a nightmare to play and should have been tested before release. The game does next-to-nothing on diretion and what to do to progress. I had to use a guide for Chapter 2 b/c I had explored the whole neighborhood and the "puzzle" made even less sense on how I had to progress. I don't need to be handheld to complete a game (or a puzzle) but when there is absolutely no direction or hint that tells me to get the soccer ball, roll it down a slide, and then use a trampoline to grow some roses, you're game sucks and has terrible assistance. Hate to say that. No soundtrack hurts this game and does make the more interesting segments boring. A soundtrack similar to the Silent Hill franchise would have benefited the game as it would fit in for the atmosphere. Apart from the multiple voice chants - which is highly disturbing - we hear in a few segments, there's nothing to write about or praise for the audio. Avoid, stopped at Ch.8, achievements easy to get w/guide.

It is ok, 20 minute game. Nice twist at the end, though transition of chapters could use work, would have enjoyed more things going on the 2nd half dropped off. Worth A plaqythrough, if you can handle not having directions explained. OH and map doesnt work for seeing where you are, but thanks for the attemp.

This could hav been a 4 for challenge but the third achievement was a pain cuz u need to do 2 steps fast (That's the hint u need to make the game not impossible.) The hardest part of the achievements is 3rd to 5th if u dont use a guide. After that, it's a doable challenge so skip the guide for that if u like challenges. I continued after the achievements and u get the end credits after finishing chapter 9. Getting to all the X's is harder than it looks cuz of all the vehicle impediments; it will test ur patience unless of course ur the average walkthru cheater who claims they actually finish games. Toggle LB to run and Y for map when u need it.

I got past chapter 1 but not chapter 2. I was still trying to search my neighborhood for an exit and nothing came up. The game was not finished before released.

Might be the worst game ever next to Animal Crossing. Chapter 1 was the only time anything happened. Once you're in Chapter 2, it's a walking simulator. I even looked up a walkthrough, and couldn't complete it because the soccer ball disappeared (even after starting a new game it was gone). Do NOT buy this game. It looks cute, but nothing happens.
