A Hole New World

Almost a 4 star because final boss seemed a tad cheap and will make you rage quit, curse and otherwise want to break things. Feels like a fusion of several classics but Ghosts and Goblins sticks out the most. Warning boss fights virtually ignore lives meaning no matter what 5 hits to beat the boss or retry. Each new stage will add new challenges and require liberal use of new potions/skills to enforce progression. Absolutely worth a purchase if enjoy retro titles.

Headline says it all. Cool game, especially if youre into oldschool NES . Music is awesome too

I love retro indi games and if you love the NES days you'll enjoy this one your attack is throwing spells but it has a ark when throwing making it hard to hit most enemies I love the graphics and the key to this is playing upside down then back to normal its something unique and is very fun jumping and throwing at the right time the critical learning experience like megaman youll die alot from unfair patterns youll have to avoid thats just like a NES game but that's not a bad thing if you truly love Retros and a unique experience I highly recommend it because most of all the new retro indi games forget to make it tougher than nails

Fun classic style game. The Achievements are mostly fun, the extra modes are an entire new level of difficulty, especially since xbox dikdnt get the patches the other platforms have. Only game in my life so far i cant get all the achievements for, only 1 i raged too on bugs

Definitely like old nes games but not in a good way; designed to be frustrating. Glad I got it on sale.
