You can still go in, collect the unique furniture, and fish, however your FPS will take a hit while inside. The water sucks bad But the world is always safe Fish and be happy 🌸

the portal is right next to the main tram network, while there isnt a bathroom inside you can eventually make a toilet, aswell as just doing your business in the water and you'll be clean instantly; infinite food once you unlock fish traps, plus really easy water access; really nice location because no enemies spawn here (including the enemy you encounter at the start of labs) except night raids/portal storms, which always give you a warning beforehand. really its a nice location and some pretty decent cosmetics, im currently 4 sectors in (security sector) and i've had no issues with this as my base, ferrying items into the base can occasionally be a hinderance since vehicles cant access it but thats the only semi gripe as it takes two trips at most (also theres a zipline back to the portal entrance from the main building, someone left a negative review because they didnt see it and complained about the walk)

Base location is good because enemies can't normally spawn there, good for fishing, and supports the devs, those are the only positives

game is good worth the buy to support
