ok so, the games decent, but if you want to hit lv 11 by the end of the 20-40 min story you cant equip the sword a random girl gives you,
the x button is meant to be A
A is meant to be B
niether of those are explained
special moves like counter or the non magic ki blast are never explained but available at start,
worst thing is in HI SCORE mode you sometime will finish a zone with max hp, then in the next zone have 1 hp left so your oneshotted
also caravan mode only saves scores if you last the whole 5 min which is dumb

"I am Bakslay, captain of this land battleship!"
This game is awesome and atmospheric and also really da*g hard if you want to beat it in one credit because it's very long and you have to play perfectly. The story is that some dudes kidnap an anime and you gotta save her. The gameplay is punch-out action rpg.
If you want to succeed, you must defeat Bakslay, captain of this land battleship, who is about halfway through the game. Some people say he's just a knight guy sprite recolored blue but if you examine the sprites carefully, you can see that's a flat out lie. The game features a persistent armor damage state on Baklesley where nicks in his armor from other players persist as long as the machine is on. If the machine is turned off then it is flushed from the RAM. This easter egg was unknown in the U.S. because Americans can't hit Bakslay but in Japan, there was a brief phenomenon known as バクスレイ チャレンジ (Bakusurei Charenji or Bakslay Challenge) where people would race to defeat him and it was uncovered through this.
