ACA NEOGEO REAL BOUT FATAL FURY

This is a solid fighter with interesting gameplay, good tunes, and memorable characters. The only gripe I have is that there's no online play. It would've been great to have that, and I'd gladly pay more for it. Having said that, I'm always happy to play Fatal Fury! By the way, you have to go into settings to make English the actual language used in English mode. For some reason, it defaults to Portuguese.

This game is a nightmare for the high score achievements. The A.I. Will simply ignore recovery frames, produce invincibilty frames at will, ignore your wake ups, hit you when it's YOUR TURN, & dp you or jump and hit you with a faster attack everytime you jump at them. It's a button reading aim bot basically. This makes for a big problem in high score mode. If the A.I. Wants to win, (& it always does)you can't stop it from winning. Designed to eat up as many of your quarters as you'd let it before you figure out it's rigged back in the arcade days. Fatal Fury 1 , 2 & Special all follow this buiseness model of placing profit over a good game & it'll do nothing but anger you. Do yourself a HUGE favor & skip this one. Start with Real Bout Special as it's a totally different, fair & much better game. I still give this 8/10 because I love Fatal Fury & there's some great fun to be had if you're not going for cheevos & actually have someone to play locally with. The A.I. is shameful.😫😫😫

For the most part it's a great port. But no arranged soundtrack. Plus in order to have the blood, you need to have it on the Japanese version. That's with all of SNK ports, including KoF.

i love it

My favorite fighter game of all time!
