ACA NEOGEO ZED BLADE

This game has everything a stellar side scrolling shooter from the era is supposed to have. Sweet visuals, pew pew sounds, great weapons & co-op play. It gets minus 1 star for the last couple of stages being shameless quarter munchers but overall a true classic. Achievement hunters will find this one challenging to get them all, but by no means impossible.

If you like R-Type and similar titles, then you should enjoy this retro shooter. Fun, fast-paced and more enjoyable with a partner. 7.6 out of 10

Zed Blade has a lot going for it: it has a functional weapon system, lots of stages, difficulty set on enemy flight patterns and strength rather than board game rules and the plot, while trite, at least honors the presentation with an unsettling final boss. The soundtrack is a little too cheery and upbeat at times and stage design is a little bland, but the action is still fluid and constant.

I like this game. The 100% of gamers unlocked achievement ratings in the Game Hub for this and other Neo Geo games are intentionally dishonest. I have insider info to prove this. It is done to fool cheeve hunters to buy this old junk. You have been warned. For shame, Hamster.

If you're a fan of shmups, you'll enjoy this title. Even tho it's on the shorter side. If you're a beginner then its a great game to cut those teeth 🥓🥓
