Acalesia

Don't waste your time buying this game for the achievements. I don't even know how a developer could spend their time making a game as terrible as this. The gameplay is boring yet frustrating, forcing players to make silly jumps they'll miss half of the time. None of the enemies are remarkable in any way and take too many hits to kill. Each level has the same boring objective of finding crystals or whatever. Nothing new to bring to the table, just the same old platforming BS that publishers seem to be cranking out on the daily. So many bugs involving your character getting stuck, usually if you fall from a great height after missing a jump. Then you have to restart and do the godforsaken level all over again. Nothing about this game is remotely fun. The player character has some of the most smug and egotistical dialogue I've ever seen, plus there are way too many spelling and grammatical errors. Music is repetitive and juvenile. Skip this trash, it isn't worth your time.

I had the misfortune of being fooled that this was gonna be another easy achievement game, buggy/delayed controls, nauseating visuals and infuriating boss fights, this game is also very broken, it skipped boss 2 and levels 10 and 11 causing me to miss my achievements

Bad controls, cheap deaths and the weakest gun you will ever see. 7 hits to kill a tiny spider? Yeah, easy 1000 if you suffer a bit.

Acalesia is the type of game you'd see at Video Store on a Friday night at 8pm (it's a below average Retro 8bit action game with bad controls! Visually it looks yucky (anyone who is Color blind should avoid this) it's just a generic mess overall (Achievement hunters its a gamble due to the controls)

The jumping can be frustrating at times but other then that game is a fun 2d platformer.
