Acorn Avengers

It's wild a game like Acorn Avengers even exist due to the plagiarism (it's very much a copy & paste of Capcom's Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers (1990) Which is the draw if you loved that game growing up you'll appreciate this knock-off. It feels like a lost NES sequel (minus removing Chip's Fedora & bomber jacket & gender-swapping Dale) I wouldn't sit on this for years at some point its going to be D/C due to some copyright infringement!

Game is basically asking for a lawsuit from Disney. The cutscenes are made with AI and show the two characters are basically too similar to Dale. Also, the game feels unfinished, as there are control issues like characters moving after landing a jump (even if you are not holding the control stick or d-pad), and controls are sometimes unresponsive.

The kids dislike this game. Even for adults it's quite challenging. There's no options to turn off the very annoying music. Throwing objects is finicky.

If you could pick your chipmonk.

My kids from grade schooler thru high schooler all had a blast playing this.
