Aery - Little Bird Adventure

And no way to fly faster, just one speed. The zombie IQ choice of color palette for several levels totally destroys the fun u get out of the other levels, since u spend more time on 3 levels than the rest put together. Unless u use a guide. Get another Aery game besides this, this is more frustrating than fun. For the 2nd to last level where u get the Above the Sky achievement, i found out the updated version now has the deluxe feature of added fog to make the last 2 items even harder to find. Zero stars

Aery is ok but it is frustrating. You cannot control your speed and if you touch anything except the feather pickups, it warps you back to the starting point of the level. What makes it worse is the fact that you cannot move the camera to help see if you can go left or right let alone see if a pickup is in that direction.

Relaxing game where you fly around and collect feathers. Nice beats, a little rough but plays nice, Later larger levels lots of asset texture popping. No R axis thumb stick control, no speed control. Not alot of story. Short game. Fairly easy achievements. Not for everyone and can get boring.

Any parent with a child who is on the autism spectrum or has struggles with sensory overload should give this game a try, there are no enemies and few if any obstacles across the 6 maps so frustration should be at a minimum. The task is simple and straight forward enough, you fly through each map collecting feathers to advance the story. Each stage is different enough to be unique, some with large colorful structures or other flying creatures that add a little depth and substance. The music will get annoying to any adult within the first few minutes, but as it looped over and over it had a calming effect on my 7 year old niece(who i bought the game for). It might not seem like much to most but watching her play and not have any issues, not have any meltdowns or moments where i needed to take the game away, that's a huge deal for her and kids like her. If any of that sounds familiar then i absolutely recommend you get this for your child just to see if they have a similar reaction.
