Airport Simulator 2019

Game is much more fun now that it has been updated. There are still some small kinks and quality-of-life improvements to be made, but nothing game-breaking anymore (from what I've seen so far). Would definitely recommend to simulation and/or aviation fans, this game gives you a taste of being in the shoes of the folk who work on the ground to keep airports running smoothly. I look forward to what changes future updates will bring - I'd love to see this game once it's polished and 5-star-worthy.

If you are hoping for a game like the classic Airport Tycoon, this is not it. You only micro manage the service vehicles ie Fuel, Buses, Catering, Cargo and so on. There are only approx 10 vehicles whose controls are ok, but far from good. Maintenance on vehicles takes way to long and if you hit something it will need to be serviced. At the time of this review, the Baggage lift does not work most of the time. The AI employees will get stuck in lift mode and will not finish the plane. The tutorial is lacking on teaching how to operate most vehicles. Graphics look like they are from last gen, however that is forgivable as this is a simulation and management game. There are a few crashes at this time which will cost you as this game DOES NOT AUTOSAVE. However, for the price point this is a decent game. It has some replay value as a relaxing game however you will probably be bored and have done everything after 20hrs, including achievements. I recommend this game on sale for $10-$20.

The different vehicals work somewhat good when your the opperator. However, when you hire employees to work the more complicated machines, the game somewhat crashes because the employees get to the plane then dont do anything. Recommend not buying this game until they update the game and fix the issues that they have with the game.

Do NOT purchase. Half done. Should not have been released in current state. Prior reviews are correct concerning frequent crashes, glitches with repair garage, and errors with loading and unloading baggage especially with larger planes. These problems alone make game one star at best. It is too bad since game has potential in first hour of gameplay with smaller, uncomplicated planes.

it's a work in progress. the game actually has potential, but it's just to clunky in its current state. Cons... 1. no autosave feature. - how can any developer publish a game without autosave? 2. tutorial is lacking progression. - I played this game for a couple hours and never felt like I progressed past the basics. There were times I tried selecting arrivals that required more steps, but never learned how to use the new vehicles. A progression system is needed to learn how to use and master each vehicle. 3. Game crashes. 4. A.I. isn't fluid. - Too many times the ncp's would create traffic jams. 5. Vehicle shelter too far from tarmac. - This is just a pet peeve of mine, but the "home" location for vehicles shouldn't be so far away from the tarmac. It needs to be closer so you're not using so much fuel. 5. Driving distance. - Just too much distance between location where planes unload and terminals. Pros... - uuummmm..... give me a minute..... uuummmm.... It's not terrible. 🙂
