    Xcellant Metroidvania...

Old school gameplay and beautiful graphics...If u like classic metroidvanias with a little modern boost, I definitely recommend. So far controls are smooth and no pesty bugs. I'm an hour in so far..I love it, but man its kinda tough...$15 is a steal... Buy it, no regrets...✌️👍👌😎...

A Cool game that's very short

My only thing that is upsetting is that its "TOO SHORT" but everything else is perfect 👍👍😎✌️hope there's DLC in future 🤞

    Great Game

I love the biomes, especially the winter one. On the linear side for MVs, but not an issue for me. Wish controls were tighter. Exploration is unrewarding-potions and cats mostly. Bosses are fun n chill. It would be nice to have a post game fast travel system between save points for cleanup. The bamboo pole section is clunky, but short lived. I like the dash refresh system. Definitely worth a playthrough. Finished under 6.5 hours.

    Amazing game

I personally love the unique artsyle of Akatori. The pixel art combined with 3D environments is unexpected, but amazing. The gameplay is also quite unique, and i'm hoping you guys add more gameplay elements in the future. Love this masterpiece!

    Good, but not great

This is a good metroidvania style game, but it isn't without issues. The graphics are quite nice, reminding me if a 32 bit era game, with smooth animations and a nice color palette. The audio so far is just there, opting for ambience rather than a proper soundtrack. The controls are where I have an issue. They need to be tightened up. Jumping is floaty, and on more than a few occasions I've found myself floating past a platform and landing on spikes because it's difficult to be precise. Hit detection is also a bit of an issue because I've been hit while rolling (dodging) while I've also jumped into spikes and it didn't register. Nothing game breaking, but issues that for me definitely warrant losing a star on my rating. If these issues are resolved, I would easily say this is a 4 star entry into the genre worth checking out.
