    Awful controls.

The controls are the worst part of this game. Its not enough that there are spikes everywhere, but now i have to fight with my controller in order to stop my character from sliding all over the place and killing itself. The game itself isn't hard, but the controls make some of these levels take longer than they need to complete. Especially the level 2&3 boss battles where you get instakilled over and over again........unreal.

No Wonder Why Thomas Was Alone...

As a puzzle-platformer, Alteric brings us back to the good old days of simple platforming with the occasional insta-death spike thrown in for good measure. At first, i was quite engaged. Then, it became apparent that the mechanics of the game were getting VERY frustrating. For example, hitting the slighest edge on something causes your cube to spin uncontrollably and makes it really tough to land nicely. Even worse, moving your stick slightly to the left or right causes your cube to gain insane speed on ramps, which makes it painful to navigate spike-based levels. Now here’s the best part: level 24 in the game (near chapter 3) is an insane difficulty spike, and, due to the unpredictable controls, it takes nearly perfect luck to complete it. Now, as a good thing, the aesthetic of the game feels alright and the music is ok, although repetitive, but i cannot deny that this game was a run for my money on the stress factor...

Lost saves and glitchy boss fight

Made it to final boss and it refused to register that I beat him so I exited to main menu too redo fight still refused to register win so I restarted game hoping that would help and it lost my save. Got back to level 27 before calling it a day and when I loaded up game next day save was once again gone. I'm definitely not trying a third time.
