Good game

i like old games

I have an XBOX One and decided to purchase COD: Black Ops and relive the good ol' days. After the game was downloaded, I immediately went to multiplayer to play some hardcore team deathmatch. Everything was great! Then I decided to download the Annihilation map pack. After the map pack was installed, I found out I could no longer play in hardcore! What gives?! Am I missing something? Is there a way to fix this issue?
