ARKANOID Live!

Many who never grew up during this era may not "get it". But this is the BEST brickbreaker game and THIS is the best version. Even the 2023 recharged version isn't nearly as good. The crisp, arcade sound effects, the simplistic controls and the straightforward, colorful design are flawless IMO. Not to mention that there are difficulty settings, number of lives and remove enemy options in case you were wondering if this was still as hard as the arcade game was back in the day. It is if you want it to be and it's not if you want to ease into it or just have a more low key experience. I wasted money on other versions. THIS is definitely the one you want all you Atari era gamers.

I Won't Stop Playing This Game!!!!!

Accept no cheesy clones! Taito took the "ball", so to speak, and reinvigorated in the arcade what was otherwise the pretty-darned-boring "Breakout" genre of games! Arkanoid LIVE! is fun, but the single player can get sort of boring; thankfully, the Zuntata-backed soundtracks and funky backgrounds are great, change as you progress through the levels, and help keep things interesting. The REAL highlight of this release is the competitive multiplayer mode! Leave the clones on your phone alone, and play the real deal. "AUTHENTICO!"

Kind of clunky at first, but you'll get used to it and better at it the more ya play!

i have no idea why this game only has a 3 star average but it definitely deserves better. if you're a fan of arkanoid / breakout, arkanoid live is simply the best version of arkanoid you can play on a home console. the graphics are solid - classic arkanoid on steroids, and the soundtrack here is absolutely stellar as well. and to the reviewer who seems confused as to how to unlock the additional game chapters, you simply gotta purchase / download the two additional chapter packs, which combined with the main game's price is still very reasonable for such a solid game. zero complaints. if you're an arkanoid fan, get this now. arkanoid live is definitely the best block breaker on xbox still to this day.
