Arsonist Heaven

Only difficult until you get the hang of it. Controls are fine. Good enemy variety and just the right length. First boss is hardest one of all. Weapons are awesome, and you just have to be a little patient while engaging an enemy. Overall, I really enjoyed this one.

Controls and combat are a little clunky. Most of the Boss attack patterns are way too similar. Easy enough and quick to complete (~1hr). Easy Achievements.

Arsonist Heaven is a good concept (its a 2D retro version of Monster Hunter) put into a Arcade style layout! The controls and difficulty is the biggest negative (Controls are "Off" the platforming/jumping stinks the jet-pack is more of a gimmick that makes the platforming broken the weapon doesn't work properly that too has this small amount the games structure is simple yet its hard just to pad out the time..... 1/2 the monsters are over powered (You'd think a flame thrower would even the odds..... The game feels like a Arcade game jacked-up to the highest difficulty

This is a decent game & it's priced right. Controls are basic & I haven't encountered any issues. It plays like it looks and comes across like a homebrew title, one that's worth trying out if expectations aren't high. It probably looks much better on a small, lower resolution screen, it's a bit rough on my 55" 4K tv. This is not a run & gun game, that's an easy way to die & get frustrated. If you want run & gun, then skip this game. Here you use your brain a little, think first & run/shoot after, not the other way around. It drops you into small areas to clean out. Once a level is cleared, no looking for end of a level, transports to next. Clearing out these areas is your hired job according to the story intro text. It has some fun ideas. Jet pack is wild (you go up sudden & FAST like a bullet), alows you to more than double jump, only limited by amount of fuel for each extra jump, your only weapon has limited ammo (can find more) but jetpack fuel will recharge.
