Ashes Cricket

this has been made with real fans in mind.......some wonderful animations, realistic action......and the best videogame reprentation so far......but it does have issues......the worst being the worst commentary ever heard in a game......you have to play with it off......it simply ruins everything.........also making your custom player......then seeing he looks nothing like it out on the field is annoying......but not as much as the commentator referring to EVERY beginner club team as 'adelade smashers'. The fielding needs a bit of work.....and the fact the last batsman looks as visually adept at batting as an opener is off putting.....there are balance issues there too. I debated on a score of 3 or 4 for the game......it probably deserves 3.5.....but it IS fun.......so i gave a 4.....it does make me wonder.....if big ant had 2k games type funding.......how great the game could be. It still is probably the best vgame representation of the sport so far

You gotta know what a crumpet is to understand cricket.

I think this is a solid cricket simulator, but how would I know? The gameplay and controls seem to make sense, but the tutorial doesn't explain how to play cricket. I learned how to pitch, field, bat, and some tricks, but by the time the tutorial was over, I still had no idea how the game was scored or what the goal for each position was. I would expect that to be covered in a tutorial, but I guess the game isn't designed for those of us with no knowledge of the game. TLDR: Look up how to play cricket before you try this game unless you already know how. The game won't explain it.

Not enough crickets
