Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 2

This collection will take you back to where Videogames first started. The 50 games on Volume #2 are pretty enjoyable. The only thing that I think Atari should have done is combine both Volumes 1 and 2 and called it Atari Anniversary Collection. I would highly recommend this collection to anyone who likes the Retro Age of gaming.

As with vol 1 each game comes with the original booklets and box art. I also think this line up may be a bit better compared to vol1. RETRO junkies add this to your collection , you wont be sorry. I feel vols will take you back to gaming nostalgia. I also want to mention both can be purchased physicaly as well.

What a fantastic collection of games that started the video game revolution when Atari unleashed their juggernaut home console in 1977! Achievements, leaderboards, game box artwork, manuals, singleplayer and multiplayer are included! If you enjoy retro, vintage gaming then this collection is for you!

I will keep it for old school Astroids. I began on the Pong standalone console at age 11, eventually getting the 2600 and learning how to sacrifice sleep to grind. This collection needs developers' attention. Breakout's paddle is too difficult to maneuver and needs to move slower...reduce sensitivity. Same with Crystal Castles and the arcade version of Missile Command...reduce sensitivity and speed to provide more stability. On the Concentration game, allow the gamer to move from number to number without having to hold the left thumb stick at the same time as selecting the number...it's a bit difficult to hover over and hold it in place. There are other trivial contol issues, but if the devs will fine-tune the ones I mentioned, I will provide 5 stars. For now, I am paying for only a few worthwhile and useable games. While I am disappointed with some content, I am pleased with three of the games which work well.

What can I say, it's good old Atari classics! This is great for those who grew up with Atari way back then & for this generation of kids who never had a chance to be introduced to these classic games that are the reason why the gaming industry is where it's at nowadays.
