Baobabs Mausoleum Grindhouse Edition

This game is a 3 chapter game. I would best describe chapter 1 as a very basic point and click. Move character, get a thing(you can only hold 1 item) and use it to move forward to another act in the chapter. Chapter 2 allows for an open world and multiple items held and is 1 act. Chapter 3 is more like chapter 1 with multiple acts and weird retro mini games within. There is a Sega CD FMV chapter, there is a AWFUL somewhat broken driving game. There is a BROKEN rail shooter where some enemies are sometimes invincible causing a full restart of the section. The whole package is a very strange and hillarious adventure for people who like weird humor. The game has at least 3 broken achievements, which were problems with the Steam version of the game before it got ported to Xbox. I think I would be more forgiving to this games bad mini games, since they fit the asthetic, but between that and the broken achievements I say this 6 hour game should only be bought on deep discount.

Linear, blurry visuals. Prob not even going to beat it.

I truly love how random everything is in this game, from the characrers to their names, events, locations and even sound effects. Ilove the fact that I can't predict what I will run into next unlike literally 95% of other games. There are even a few references during dialogue that lead me to watch some pretty random youtube videos. Shout out to the developement team as I can't to see more from you.

Pretty good game so far! I’m enjoying the old school gameplay. Definitely hits that 90’s kid nostalgia feel. Storyline is ridiculous and so are the characters but I love the dark humor. Very unique game. I will be replaying this when I'm finished now that I know what to do. Definitely worth the $17
