Batman - The Telltale Series - Episode 1: Realm of Shadows

Wow just finished my 1st play through an let me start by saying not a huge Batman or Telltale fan. With that said you need to play this finally a Telltale game worth the $20 there best by far. If they keep puttin games out like this one I'm on board. Usually I don't pay for there games do to them being short or the game type. Batman though is simply Amazing love the twist to a old story the way they approached the story we all know an told it there way awesome. Now I know you hardcore comic book fans will disagree with the story being told in a new light even then check out what they did. This is hopefully the beginning of more to come like this! 👍

Having played the whole season, I can definitively say Batman is my favorite work of Telltale since season 1 of the Walking Dead. Telltale does a great job of getting the player invested in keeping Bruce Wayne's identity secret, through tense standoffs with or without the batsuit. The main draw of this series in my opinion is Telltale's renditions of some of Batman's most iconic villains. Two-Face, Penguin and Catwoman were absolutely the highlights of this series. Unfortunately, the series does have the common Telltale issue of pigeonholing the player down a path even if they should be able to choose out of it. Overall, if you're a legitimate Batman fan outside of the Nolan movies there's a very good chance you could enjoy this. Just don't mind the Batmobile steering itself every once in a while.

This Telltale walk through Batman is a great interpretation. Telltale gives their own spin on things. If that sort of thing bothers you this series is not for you. On the other hand if you go in with an open mind you can have a lot of fun with this series. I enjoyed how things were handled and seeing a fresh view on a classic. Prepare yourself for some fun!

If you like stories, video games, cinematics and Batman then this game is perfect for you. Only thing I found a little disappointing was most decisions made didn't really change anything, especially those made that impact relationships even though the game specifically pointed out when a character took notice in your choice of words and attitude.

2 thumbs way up guyz n galz. the action n detective scenes were fun to play through. the voice acting was also solid as was the musical scores. Made me want to dust off the old batman comics hiding in my closet or watch the animated series from the 90s. great job telltale...keep em coming please. 👍👍
