If you like a good tower defense game you should know this is not a TD. This is an RTS all day everyday and twice on Sunday. You will be managing far more than sitting back and timing upgrades for the most efficient run. Its not like you will be base building but there is a constant demand for you to track and manage bee's (not towers GWidgaf Overdose) even after you have set them to task. There is constant management from start to finish. 1 star for this reason. The towers you place however do the killing. Definitely more of a hybrid and not aweful for a child to play, bonus star. In fact you will be managing bee's within minutes of previously setting them to task a resource, fighting to get them to work before the action even begins. Bee's will idle group in the same hex, as well as not announcing in any way they are done. Add to all this the general theme and story content and imo, you MIGHT have fun playing this if you are between the ages of 8 and 14 years old.

***Edit*** Achievements have been fixed!!! 5/5. Not misleading description lol definitely a tower defense. No base building whatsoever. Great TD game. Not as simple as I thought. Well balanced and challenging enough. 2 broken achievements for 50k and 100k upgrade points but still worth it. 4.5 stars due to that. 6 towers with 2 different upgrades. Very solid game.

I've pourd 1000s of hours into Tower Defense(TD) games over the years and xbox never really had any good ones to choose from. This one is the exception, its a wonderful game with nice cheesy names and a easy to understand tutorial. The game gets more difficult with each passing mission but there always seems to bee new challenges and mechanics that keep you sucked in. With only small bugs that arent even noticeable if you dont look, its a must buy for a TD fan. The only thing id change is an option to lower the SFX and Music volume without muting it. I love them but they are extremely loud and i cant play with them both. 4/5
