Beyond Enemy Lines - Remastered Edition

Console: Xbox Series X Update 1/16/22: After recent patches, I'm glad to say I can get past the start screen. The main issue now is that my game has random crashes nearing the end of missions. Unfortunately I cannot troubleshoot why. Other than that, in terms of gameplay, it is what you would expect from an indie military shooter. Some animations feel clunky or non-existant, and the controller integrations feel... Let's say there's room for further improvement. But at the same time nothing is terrible. I'd say it meets all the requirments it's aiming for. Level design wise, everything is a bit repetitive (Enemy dialogue, building interiors, enemy spawns, objectives, forested environment). I heard that the game's developer is one or two people, and with that context consider me impressed. There is definitely a lot of jank, but I feel like with time the devs can make something great using this as a foundation. Requests/bugs: Please add a patch for game crashing. Object pop-in issues.

I spent hours in my early years back in the 90s playing games like this. Little rough around the edges, ladder mechanics are a little janky, but I dig it. Fun game to relax and play. I appreciate the work Polygon put into this. C'mon ya'll lets not pretend the bigger games don't have their issues too. If you are in your mid to late 30's and wanna re-live the old days check thisgame out. PS...Jesus loves you. Repent from your sins, believe the gospel, and put your faith and trust in Christ our Lord. Much love to anyone reading this.

I know this game is made by a small team, but if they focused on what's important they can put out a decent game. What I mean is ai ,and maybe level design. And the ai is definatly higher priority being that the enemies have no direction at all.But if thats fixed I'd be more than happy to buy your ww2 game. Thank you

crashes on menu what a waste of money
