Beyond Hanwell

Just beat the first boss, so this is an early game review. This feels great! Open world horror game with no HUD, some crafting, and combat like old school Dead Island. It's horror elements are comparable to Outlast, Prey, and new school Resident Evil. Difficulty feels fair, just don't go wasting ammo or consumables. Safe Houses are your go-to places to resupply when resources are running low. All in all, it is a great experience so far, and look forward to seeing how it ends. Be suspicious of your surroundings!

This game is beautiful it's like Condemned sequel we never got. Please ignore the hate kids forget this is an indie game small team that worked hard to produce a better horror game then some crappy fnaf clone that the AAA industry keeps pumping out. You want a dark atmospheric first person Silent Hill style game with amazing graphics? This is it!

Just started playing and immediately the atmosphere, visuals and overall vibe great. Controls are a bit more sim than arcade. If you like the Codemned series, especially C2 Bloodshot, a visit to Hanwell is a must. ONLY $30!!! Note: Possible glitch during Theater battle. I put every pistol round into boss and broke both melees 3 times and nothing, switched difficulty to easy defeated all enemies with 1 melee.

The enviormental detail is fantastic as is the lighting as well.Atmosphere is creepy and tense with the music further adding to it.Sound design is well done and the combat system feels nice and meaty.So far,the game is really good and can't wait to get further into it...

Great game, its a casual horror game. 2 days of stalker 2 playtime has this game looking like a lightshow is going on lol
