BLACKHOLE: Complete Edition

This game is obviously well designed but I never enjoyed playing it. I quickly got to the point I needed a guide to understand what it was it wanted me to do and instead of learning and building on that I had to go back to the guide again. I would say most people will hate this game but if you are a gamer that prides themselves on beating difficult puzzle platformers you won't find much better.

REALLY HARD!!! But ooh soo satisfying when ya figure it out.

Smart level design, great music and voice acting, and an interesting plot. A gem among indies!

Blackhole isn't a bad game, it's just too too tough for 99.99% of gamers. Case in pont being the leaderboards. On my first completion of level 1 I was in the top 900(who knows how many this has sold but for point of reference.) On completion of level 11 I was ranked 23. That likely means less than 50 people beat level 11. The game is that difficult. Better designed games like Celeste or Meatboy essentially prepare you for future difficulty in earlier, easier stages. This game goes from 1/10 difficulty to 10/10 in the first few levels, coming from this very experienced platform game veteran. The controls are tight and the puzzling(which thus far is basically finding a route using room spinning and switch/platform activating) is very clever. The character dialogue is fully voiced and very good. With that said this game really has a very small audience due to how difficult the devs chose to design the game. Buy it if you are up for a big challenge, but don't say I didn't warn you.

this game had potential but its boring asf
