Borderlands 3: Director's Cut
2K · Shooter
Borderlands 3 gets even bigger with the Director's Cut add-on content! Test your mettle against the most fearsome of all Varkids, scour the galaxy to solve a string of murders, experience never-before-seen content and insights from the creation of Borderlands 3, and earn rewards with three new Vault Cards featuring themed loot and powerful gear.
This DLC gives access to deleted scenes that should have been implemented instead of being flaunted in our faces. I do not need to see that you had the opportunity to fix your games story issues and FAILED TO DO SO. They should have seen what Mass Effect 3 developers did in response to the criticism received regarding it's endings... THEY F-ING FIXED IT. They had the audio, rendering animation would have taken a month and a half, maybe more or less if you have more than one person working on it.

Not the best
Definitely not the best dlc for the game but its still fun. Not sure why you need the designers cut to make this one work though.

Good but Vault Cards are too grindy
3 stars simply because Borderlands 3 still freezes up on you years later and they have no intention or interest on fixing it. Borderlands 4 is a cash grab that will be just as bad as the movie, disappointing that this franchise has abandoned us

The Issue At Hand: A Lawful Good Review & Critique
I looked at the comments and reviews, and... Well, I'm throwing my two cents in.
On the one hand, I agree with the majority here, and say this DLC is the weak link.
The writing is not polished the best, it's TOO focused on Ava, the Scrappy of the series, and it doesn't help fix her as a character.
On the other hand, it's still better than the main story, it tried to fix Ava, and it offers an interesting story.
But my issue is what everyone here said: If there's an issue with a character you want to keep around, you need to ADDRESS the issue properly. NOT ignore the criticism and keep digging the grave deeper.
Gearbox, if you want to keep Ava around, fine. I see what you tried to do, and I admit she has potential. But she has PROBLEMS y'all ignore, and they need to be addressed. Even I admit she needs HEAVY rewrites to be better.
And please, for the love of all that's good... Don't ignore the feedback.
