Breakdown

This was way ahead of it's time. Some mechanics are terrible, such as no instruction whatsoever on what moves string into combos, barely a tutorial on the right ways to slap a T'lan warrior, and horrible checkpoint locations are things that haven't aged well. But I still love it. I don't remember a ton of games from 2 decades ago, but this is one that I remember quite vividly. The fist combat is so immersive, and I liked the story. For anyone wondering, here's some moves. Some unique to their combo. Down+LT, RT IMMEDIATELY after, LT = Down fist & karate chop. (Not kidding, straight ninja stuff). The timing on this one is weird. Left+LT, RT, LT = Left Hook, Right Hook, Karate chop. Left+RT held, Right+LT, RT = Charged uppercut, Elbow, Strong uppercut. LT, LT, Left+RT, Right+LT, Forward+RT = The longest combo I found. The only 5 hitter I believe. Down+RT Held = Charged kick. Up+LT&RT (Simultaneously), RT = Slide w/ Strong uppercut. Down+LT&RT (Simultaneously) = The only throw, I think?

Game is a solid, but not for the weak. Dark Souls players, yall haven't seen sh*t til you've played this rage inducing masterpiece. Normal difficulty is HARD!!! gameplay is pretty dated, but none the less the game still puts up a hell of a challenge.

This is one of my childhood games for sure. I used to find the enemies kinda spooky, still get the Talan chills. I first beat the game on an original xbox. I used to be too scared to make any progress when I was younger, and the beginning of this game is still just straight nightmare fuel! Especially for new comers. Definitely some of the stuff I'm looking for in new horror games these days. Just buy it and you won't regret it. However I personally recommend the OG Xbox version for quality purpose. Still hoping for a remake or a VR version🐌

I didn't play the original version, but so far I've played this game twice and already on my 3rd play through. It will immerse you if you pay attention, this game nearly brought me to tears twice already. The game has several combos they don't tell you about in the tutorial, like a slide kick followed by an uppercut. Walk forward, press RT and LT to slide, then RT to sock them in the jaw and put them on the ground. You'll find a few more and even some where you can charge your final attack. If you have trouble then try different strategies and utilize different techhiques. It's a great game like many of the others that came during the early 2000's.

Great Game along with a Unique Story. This one is definitely worth playing to thru Fully. Learn the controls and the Game is Honestly Epic.
