Robots + Street Fighter, what more could you ask for?
CYBERBOTS is one of the best fighting games I have ever played in years. Capcom really wanted to make this game stand out from the rest of the fighting games on the market at the time, and you can tell once you start playing. The game mixes futuristic robots with a Street Fighter-esque style of gameplay. It is so much fun to absolutely go full-on Robot Combat League, and the game provides some sort of originality, because very few robot fighting games existed in the '90s (now we have a lot, like Override: Mech City Brawl). The game is simple, it's a fun futuristic twist on Street Fighter, and it had originality. CYBERBOTS is just dumb fun and it will get you hooked, as I also did. But CYBERBOTS is even more fun if you play online with other people around the world, because then you and someone else can put your skills to the test. All in all, CYBERBOTS holds up well, and it is worth buying the Pack 3 bundle for $15. You will not be disappointed.
