Chess Knights: Viking Lands

Great little game for the price Controls take patience, but no rush required

Easy and fun game. Took me around 2 hours to 100%. Looking forward to the developer's next installment.

At first I was disappointed because I expected controls like Knight's Retreat. When you get used to the swivel control, it's okay, no bother. Also annoying at first is that the camera doesn't switch around automatically when heading back (must do it manually). There's also no saving of your set postion of the camera from area to area. I eventually got used to it & after getting further in, found it's helpful to constantly the camera around during your moves. You actually travel across a chunk of land via a camera view that moves you from one battle area to another (boards setup across it to complete) & level select is map of this place. This is not chess but the pieces move as they do in chess. If you are like me, have mild-moderate puzzle skills & checkers is more your level, this is worth considering, especially if you are familiar with which way chess pieces move & easily worth $3.99.

There should be a setting whether it's regular one square at a time, method, or the trash rotation method. At least put in a setting for rotation sensitivity. I had to re-do more than a few screens because of the lame controls. Completely ruined a really enjoyable five star puzzle playtime. The idea that you don't have to know chess to play this game, was the reason for the choice of the automatic L rotation approach, but it thoroughly ruined the experience. Devs should stop producing bad games from catering to noobs. On top of that, the last achievement, Ragnarok, glitched for me, even though I finished every level and got all the other achievements. Really annoying game. Edit: The last achievement popped when i started up the game again after half a year, so i added a star.

Why? Seriously, why? Do you hate the console players? Have you even tested this? You have to choose a direction with the left stick, ok.... But the direction you point is not the way it goes. You then have to rotate it down and conform. Fix this!!!
