Visual novels are pretty hit or miss for me, but this one was very good. Interesting plot and characters. Cutscences can be fastforwarded if you have seen them in previous playthroughs.

When you use a save it won't let you make new choices and no matter if it's a new game the script read error is there.

Cannot 100% due to "fatal error" during 'grim fate' achievement. Wasted 5 hours before discovering.

There's too many script errors. I can't even finish the game due to constant crashes. Deleting and uninstalling it didn't help. Good thing it was on sale.

Ever wonder what a visual novel done Tell Tale style would be like? This is it, minus the point and click segments. The game follows a main fixed route but with variable paths to an end. There are four main endings with some story path variations for each. What adds to the game is that the multiple characters are given some basic character traits and motivations for their part in the story. I found it rather engrossing to see the reasons of why the stepmother and stepsisters were wicked. Even the extra added characters are given some personal motivations, a few are even interconnected to another but you wouldn't know how unless you went down another playthrough path. There are a few times where you will not be able to skip previously read text because you landed on another story path variation. Overall an engrossing story with a unique art style and fitting music that helps add to the mood of the game.
