CODE SHIFTER

I enjoyed the 8bit mixes of the characters themes, and the levels are okay, but there are some annoying sections and a boss which is rather cheap. Also the story is not great (like there are times the text goes offscreen and the next line does not work correctly) overall I will say wait for a sale before picking up this game and wait for the songs to get online at some point.

I really want to love the game, but it just wont let me. The throwback stuff is cool, but thats really the only reason im still playing. Unskipable cut scenes, with try-hard dialogue; Repetative, unbalanced combat and gameplay that is very reminiscent of old flash games. Its certainly a curiosity, but feels like one of those games they gave you with your cereal in the late 90s. Ive loved so many of their games over the years, but this game seems mostly for the current devs at arc system works to amuse themselves while ignoring the fanbase

This game just screams lazy on it. Text is low Fidelity and sloppy looking. Not to mention combat is infuriating. You have to be right up on an enemies face just to hit them. All these fanservice characters that are put in our OK. This game is super lazy and just. Wow. The price is not good for what you will be playing, so wait for a sale. Just so much about this game that I cannot endorse.

This is a cheap 2d beat em up platformer, but still fun game. I dislike ranking for power ups, but its not super tight(inti-create😣). I actually enjoy this, but it will get repeative quickly. 14.99 us$ is a fair price.

Love the cast of characters from other games but the rest of the game is so bland and generic. They missed a great opportunity with this game. It gets an extra star for Colorful fighters multiplayer which is pretty fun. Kelli - Indie Game Hideout (Xbox Club)
