Adds new boss and new depth map and new foes and has challenge missions for the last boss which are fun/challenging to complete
Adds numerous cosmetics for the character creator
Adds 2 new outfits for both Io and Louis
Adds 3 new blood codes, 2 of which seem to fill in various gaps in current build playstyles
Adds a reskin for the pipe with +50 fire damage XD
You get everything that the description says.

This is not a story DLC, this is a gameplay DLC, if u like your souls like games, then this is a sizeable DLC with a few hours worth of content.
All the haters are hating because no story and how its "too much money" Its a reasonable price for what you get.

Get this if you want a reason to revist Code Vein
I agree this is like a 3.5 its fun but dosent add much but all the people giving this 1 star are just complaning becaus its no prepare to cry dlc but this dlc does have at least 2 maybe 3 hours of game play if you like this game and just want a reason to play here you go and everyone who says the boss is boring just have bad taste in boss design there is only 2 moves that i think are crappy and a little cheap but it is overall pretty good

DISAPPOINTED!
Hopefully the remaining two DLC's will actually have story content and not a single depths level. DLC includes a challenge reward system revolving around the DLC's main boss that will reward you with reskinned weapons & blood veils (you probably won't use), face paint, mid-game blood codes and also costumes for two of the NPCs. With the one new main boss that automatically start on NG+ difficulty even though there's an optional increase difficulty slider and two mini bosses that are reskins.
Edited:Completed most of the challenges and this DLC really isn't fun, all it does is waste your time. Still going to hope the remaining two DLCs aren't hot garbage.

Five months of lost potential
After a thorough sweep of the dlc, I am highly disappointed with the content. Promoted as a side-story, there is no plot or much value accredited to Hellfire Knight. The dlc is short, which is expected for $9.99. The weapons and blood veils are all reskins. The veils are altered medium quality gear that aren't better than end game loot. The weapons are Sunset reskins with reverse stat scaling, which is bad so you'll be worse off on damage. The blood codes are extreme alternatives that are meta inferior. One Core with the only memories are spread to the two other dlcs, gimping value.
The map itself is pretty, but nothing special save the boss room. The boss is however, just a reskinned Hannibal from God Eater. An annoying boss that spams spinning, jumps, and fire ults. If you dislike the final boss, you'll dislike him. The challenges attached are time sinks for masochists with most of your loot. The only redeemable part is the cosmetics, which isn't worth the price.

The boss is all that matters
The stage added to the Depths is unique and challenging(still smaller than a full area), blood codes and gifts are great, new vestiges have new scenes, the weapons are underwhelming, the blood veils are nice, accessories and facepaints are just symbols, the costumes for Louis and Io are meh, the new music when the knight drops to 50% is AMAZING, and what really matters is the boss.
The knight himself attacks furiously, more difficult than anything in the base game. The replay value comes in learning his patterns and waltzing around him untouched while completing trials for rewards, culminating in the bonkers Knight Monarch Conqueror +10 challenge requiring beating him without taking damage or using items while he has sharply inflated stats, for a bragging rights facepaint.
If you want a cool, tougher boss this is great, but everything else takes a backseat so it's not for everyone.
