Coffee Crisis

Great art style and superb music that pulses with beat em up nostalgia! Unfortunately, it still needs some attention to detail and polish. There are too many enemies and enemy types on screen even on easy mode. The hit detection is just ok and the impact when hits are landed isnt felt so I'm constantly moving up and down to align with the enemies. Getting hit with un-telegraphed attacks is frustrating, there needs to be a slight hint of predictability. Level design is all over the place and the third level should have been the first. The power ups\modifers aren't easily distinguished during gameplay. I feel like I'm fighting a horde then a random crt effect (definitely looks cool) happens but it's hard to notice what the hell is actually happening. I'm also playing on the One X and oddly enough screen tearing is an issue. I still like it a lot and see potential for it becoming an great game! Ps. I'm not at all a country fan but I can appreciate the Kenny Chesney joke!

cool coffee theme but moves are super short range mostly too many extra pointless enemies not legit enough to master . not using password system for this crap. also unworthy of that effort. keep the theme but the gameplay sucks mob usage and level design are like an afterthought .the graphics retro stuff shows the art team are legit. dump the phoned in husk of gameplay mechanics. all retro show and no go.

This is awesome old school brawling with plenty of modern touches that take it to the next level. The soundtrack is filled to the brim with tasty, upbeat metal riffs that go perfectly with the game's quick paced brutality. The story has just the right amount of self aware goofiness that takes advantage of classic video game tropes. Also, the pixel art is beautifully done. Finally, the fact that this game was first released on the Sega Genesis via Kickstarter makes it that much more metal! \m/ Yes, you heard it here, the Genesis is pretty metal. Need proof? Metal Jesus Rocks himself makes a glorious cameo appearance. Highly recommended! UPDATE: After putting more time in, i will say i think hit detection and enemy balancing needs just a bit of work. There are times when combat feels a little unfair. I still recommend the game highly but it would take it to the next level if these issues were addressed.

Absolutely fantastic game. They really nailed the old school look and feel Cant rave about this enough its a MUST buy game if you like throwbacks. My husband also got the game so were waiting to see who gets the higher scores

This has living cringe factory Metal Jesus Rocks in it. Of course it sucks. Make sure someone says yinz or something, street cred is more important than fun or basic playability.
