Constructor

I played Constructor and especially it's sequel Street Wars: Constructor Underworld (Mob Rule in US) a LOT as a kid back in the 90's. This is a true HD overhaul and it's fantastic. They don't make RTS games like this anymore. But I should be clear, this IS NOT a super competitive RTS where APMs are a required science (like Starcraft). However, it doesn't hold your hand either. This series simulates city building in the underworld, so it's not just strategy at play, but rivals using dirty tactics to run you into the dirt, and game mechanics reflect that. It's NOT Sim City, Skylines, Tropico... It is constructor. Go in expecting a unique experience, with it's own identity. Many have been fans for over 20 years for a reason.

Waited years after rumors of a remake. Waited a few more years each time they decided to postpone a month till release. Waited a one last year to let them work out the bugs. In the end... only half of the achievements register, crash, missions still "coming soon"... all while they talk on releasing a sequal.

video nothing like game. missing features from preview such as split screen missleading. unpolished loose controls, no idacators for handieman service area, and so on.

Not worth $40. I played for about 3 hours an im already over the same repetition. Great concept done wrong. No real open world freedom. Stuck fixing problems created by a timeline. Wish I rented or demo'd first.

11 different achievements for this game are currently impossible to get. Clearly glitched as 0.00% of people have it. That probably doesn't and won't matter to some if not most, but it kind of ruins the game for me. Hoping for an update soon to fix this.
