Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss

I spent $70 to have my game controls stop responding so i couldn't jump. After restarting multiple times i have a list of issues that need fixed. 1. No jumping, jump button not responding 2. Some sections of game can be skipped due to the first area not registering the power being off. 3. HUD completely vanishes occasionally after getting through portal the second time back. 4. Audio dialogue can be repetitive and sometimes not understandable when the character on the pillar in second chapter is visibly alive you get all the dialogue as if he is dead. I love the game and would like to finish but as the game is right now I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO BUY UNTIL PATCHES OR REFUNDS COME OUT TO CONSUMERS AFFECTED.

Game froze halfway through chapter 2 and brought me back to the beginning of the chapter when I restarted the game - even though it shows my last play time. Works on a checkpoint system - which makes no sense when the game incorporates a lot of investigative work. Lost about 3 hours of time on mental map connections, pins, deductions, etc. This needs fixed - spent way too much money on a game that is just going to waste my time. Fix or refund -buyer beware!!! Great game concept... such a shame for this to spoil it.

Bought this game because I was genuinely interested in the Cthulhu story. The voice acting is ok and the overall controls feel pretty janky. This game also seems to stutter/lag a TON if you aren't on performance mode. Anyhow, a lot of the controls simply do NOT work a majority of the time. To the point that it locks your progress. Tired of Microsoft denying refunds WHEN THIS GAME DOESN'T EVEN FREAKING WORK PROPERLY!!!!

Praying w updates it gets better...currently save your money.
