DARK SOULS III - Season Pass

This was absolutely amazing. I cherished it through and through. Rewarding as it is difficult, a complete masterpiece. New weapons, armor, items, covenants, npcs, quests, spells, enemies, secrets, arenas, bosses. And even better, answers. This DLC is a must have, I've replayed it twice now. It's close to exceeding the base game. Dive into a whole new world, where you'll have to adapt different playstyles, a place where only the most valiant and astute will rise. This DLC, will blow your mind to bacteria-sized bits. Enjoy ; ) 🙂👍👏👌🎮⚔❤

This game is a brilliant conjuration of both imaginative storytelling and intense gameplay that I have yet to discover in most other games of this breed. In a way, the enemies and bosses in this game feel like they represent my entire gaming career, and the challenges that go alongside it. The music when you're engaged in a really tough battle incites power in me. The feeling I get when I play Dark Souls is nothing short of inspirational. I would truly recommend this game to anyone.

Supposedly the final game in the Souls Series, though the 2 DLC's are not out at the time of this review. This game fills the void left by the second Dark Souls, a game not made under the same director as the rest. It really shows that Miyasaki put a ton of effort into this game. The descriptions on items tie together even more so than any previous game and even the design of the areas you visit help in that regard. It may be due to my having played all of these games now, but I felt that this game was not the hardest one. That said, new comers will find more than enough hurt here. Cannot wait to see how these DLC's bring the end of a generation.

Dark Souls 3 does a perfect job of combining the new and the old. While it remains true to the dark, brooding ambiance and difficulty of the franchise, it is also very accessible to those who have yet to experience the series for the first time. Although weathered Souls fans may find it a bit easier than previous installments, it is still a solid, true to form Dark Souls game that is both fun and satisfying to experience. For all weathered fans can agree....Dark Souls is an experience more than it is a game.

The Dreg Heap is a filthy, cluttered mess, leading down into a challenge that was well worth the price of admission. Even that has beauty to it. The Ringed City itself is breathtaking, in both meanings of the phrase. Beautiful and deadly. Like the series as a whole.
