Dark Steel Legends

Garbage in the first degree. Its a terrible game...let my mistake in buying this keep you from finding out.

Feels like something they plucked from the apple store for quick cash. Should be about 99 cents. i picked a knight class because they have a shield in the description. Just for my guy totospawn into his first fight without a shield while the enemy has one. Save your money thi should be a free game. Combat is clunky and the dodge is terrible. This couldve been a great game. Similar to that greek arena game back on the 360

Let me start by saying that I don't mind the graphics. It's clear that it's a low budget game and that's fine. There's zero story, it's just an arena combat game, which is fine. The menu and user interface is horrible. I spent way too much time moving a cursor around trying to navigate menus. I can get past those things. But when the entire game is based around arena combat, you'd think they would get the combat part right. That's the part I can't get past. The enemies are so erratic, you can't tell when they're about to attack or use a special, so you can't really react to them. The dodge system is HORRIBLE. You can't animation cancel with a dodge, so if you're mid swing you're out of luck. And even if you do see an attack coming and dodge, it's still going to hit you. So the dodge mechanic is just completely useless. The game is less of a skill check and more of a stat check. Only redeeming quality is the easy achievements, ill get my quick 1000g and never touch this again.

Don't listen to him the game is fun The combat's not bad, but the game should be priced at 4.99
