Dark Void

I don't know how I missed this game when it first came out. If you enjoy a great third person action shooter, this is a game you should enjoy, but... It hasn't aged well, the fun is still there, but the polish has dulled. There was a glitch with every turret in the game where the camera would spin out of control vertically, so I could never use any turret. The flying is great, the shooting is pretty good and both at the same time do work well, the enemy variety is a bit lack luster but offers the most challenge when in flight. The story does leave a lot to be desired, it never fully explains or explores who the enemies and what the stakes are. Overall this is a solid, easy going experience, well deserving of a remake or remaster, sadly I don't think that will ever happen.

This title covers a LOT of ground: cover shooting, aerial dogfights, infiltration, and boss battles all with a pulpy, serial vibe. Think Boba Fett meets Flash Gordon. A lot has been said about this game sucking; are these people playing the same title I am? I don't get it; what more do they want? Yes, the flying takes some getting used to, but once it clicks, it's GO TIME!!! If you like OG Prey, Singularity, Vanquish, Timeshift, Enslaved, or Binary Domain, you'll feel right at home here. Blast off!!!

Played this game 10 years ago, now all I need is Bionic Commando 2009

Where was this game all my life I needed a game where nathan drake gets a boba fett jetpack and him, Emilia Earhart and Nikola Tesla and the Void people???? get to fight the Geth and the Anunnaki and the "facists" and Hitler and his alien lackeys use the Geth to enslave humanity.

Wow, I wish I had played this years ago. It got destroyed in reviews when it came out, and to be honest, the character animation and gunplay are a little janky so it can be a rough start. It's not the worst I've seen though. Once you get into the vertical sections it really starts to come alive, and the jetpack is perfect. I think the core idea of the game is well worth experiencing for 2.99, I would love to see it revisited someday.
