Dead Island Retro Revenge

Its not the best retro game but its also not the worst my opinion i liked but i wouldn't be hyped to play it all the time i gave it 5 stars cause if it was back then it would do pretty good still waiting for dead island 2 tho hopefully it will come out soon now that would be the best comeback for dead island franchise. 👀

Brings me back to my genesis days. it is old school to the max. u gotta beat each level and it saves after each level. you can replay any level to try to best yur high score. controls work great. if you dig oldschool its worth 5 bux. its also funny stuff the dude says lol throughout.

Its fun for a few hours here and there. I mean its only $5 so what do you really expect. It has 1000 gamerscore so that makes it worth playing in my book.

It's o.k. Gameplay is actually deeper than I thought, considering that it's an endless runner. It's not a simple beat-em-up, you press certain buttons for certain attacks to have specific nessesary consequences (not optional if you want to survive), you have to think and be very alert and fast, it's too complex to explain here. The problem is that it's so deep that certain enemies require certain combos, etc, it's not a simple game that you just pick up and play, which confounds the appeal of a mindless endless runner, yet will also leave fans of brawlers unsatisfied. Finally, the difficulty gets rediclously hard less than a third of the way thru the game, so there's about 30 minutes worth of game before that happens.

This game is good if you like old school arcade games...in my opinion, it's worth your money.
