Destiny: The Taken King

I took d1 for granted, i wish i could relive this game.

Alright I love the game and the grind for better loot, but I understand why someone may hate it. The games going into its 3rd year and if you're just diving in then prepare for the constant annoying grind for better loot. It can get boring at times so try to play with friends and have casual conversations while doing something like the exotic sword quest. And if you're a solo player then you may find it annoying because you can't finish the raid this game was meant for playing with your friends. Destiny's a game I care about alot I've been here since year 1 and have stayed with the game ever since, the story may not be the greatest but what I enjoy are the moments I've had with my friends.

Leveling up is better. Story is better. Raid is better. Everything in this game was made better through ttk. Pick this up, it's super addictive once you get into it. Play with friends to have a better expierence.

One of Bungie's most ambitious projects that brought life back to Destiny. Completely revitalized the game. The Taken King still stands to this day (Oct. 2023) as one of the best expansions coming from Bungie along side Destiny 2's Forsaken. Don't listen to other reviews that are low ratings because they don't want (or know) how to read what they're purchasing. It's become a habit among gamers to clown and poke fun at Destiny. This is not the place for that. Take that nonsense to Reddit. The Taken King is a revolutionary expansion to the Destiny universe and built the foundation for what Destiny is today. One bite, everyone knows the rules: SOLID 5/5 absolutely would recommend.

As a player who's been around since the launch, and a long-time Bungie fan and supporter, I can honestly say that I have never felt so wronged by a game before. We, as a community, were robbed of content (for whatever nonsense happened before launch) and to this day, and in the future, excessively exclusive content is being made for Sony consumers, which is cool for them, however, for people like ourselves, who have poured money into Bungie since they started as a company because we love what they do, only to have them spit in our faces, is honestly upsetting. I cannot think of another scenario where the consumer buys a product, and then doesn't get to have said product until whenever the company deems necessary (an entire year, in this case). That's just bad business. A lot of the decisions Bungie have made (either themselves or with Activision or Sony involvement) have driven away a lot of their fans, including myself. It's sad, but until they make executive changes, I'm done.
