The entire story in one sentence

Vergil hires Vergil's son and Vergil's brother to defeat Vergil so Vergil can become Vergil featuring Vergil from the Devil May Cry: Special Edition series.

    SPECIAL EDITION is SeriesX/S/PS5 edition

I know I was confused about the differences of "special edition" vs "DMC 5 + Vergil DLC" since the descriptions are vague and the price gap...Special edition is the best option if on series X/S for sure.. 120 FPS supported w/ a graphics upgrade, not sure if theres any extra content with this version yet, but the performance upgrades alone justify the extra $5 during this current sale. Hopefully this helps at least one person. Will update it if i find anything else different as i progress! 🫡
