Loved the game
beat it including secret ending twice! That said I strongly feel the need for said expansion (paid DLC or not) bring back power rings, buff augments, and unique weapons and armor not buyable with gold but taken with grinding and RNG! If you read this and agree back me up please!

aka Capcom's How To Train Your Pawn
Do you like action? Do you like adventure? Shenanigans? Well, buckle up Buttercup... This game has it in spades. Start by creating your character... For 3 hours. Only to wind up creating a near perfect replication of Bully Maguire, or Gandolf. Then create your escort, aptly dubbed Main Pawn. Who may or may not come to resent you so much that they murder entire towns just to spite you. Embark on an intense adventure to save the world, and unravel a gripping love story by finding the dragon who stole your heart.

PLEASE DONT ABANDON THIS GAME CAPCOM
Dragons dogma has got to be my hands down favorite fantasy/RPG titles I have ever played. This game is a massive graphical upgrade from its predecessor. With that being said I feel like from a gameplay perspective it is a bit of a let down when coming from the first title in the series. There aren’t as many vocations as the first game, and the amount of content compared to the first game is lacking as well. As well as the story being very eh. Its very sad to see capcom basically abandon this game because of the abundance of potential that it has to be an amazing 10/10 game, the bones are there, they just need some meat. I think if capcom were to release a DLC and regularly update the game then it would definitely gain more popularity and be more successful. I am almost complete the game but it just felt so short and I would buy DLC in a heartbeat if it were released.
