DREDGE - The Pale Reach

For a peice of content that costs 6 dollars the quality is really good and is a great addition to the game. I just wish there was a little more to the story and wildlife creatures but over all a great dlc. Also there is another dlc coming out so stay tuned

Its a good DLC and worth spending time on but with a subpar story, I personally enjoyed the extra grind and achievements that came along with it, it took me around 2 hours to complete it, definitly worth it in my humble opinion

Great addition hope its the first of many! Genuinely one of my favorite games.

Adds another story location on the map that comes with a little more of some things already in the game such as new fish species, new hooded figure with book prize, new boat part, new magic ability to earn, etc. As for the new magic ability, to avoid spoiling I'll just say unlike the other abilities (like banish) you don't take this one with you as you boat around. If you don't use any guides and get 100% in this new area then you likely will get at least 2 hours of play time with it. New achievement points are 200. Nothing except ice and book you can earn from a side quest affects rest of the game nor does it add to the main story in the game with it's isolated, cryptic lore. Leave the new map area and it's the old game with only the 2 small exceptions carrying over. For the price, it's definitly worth it to have a sixth area added to your map. Note, 4 stars is because the isolated story not only ties into nothing it has a great buildup to a nothing ending (anti-climatic).

It's got a new piece of equipment, biome, fishes, horror but the story isn't the most interesting to me. Don't get me wrong, I liked the DLC as much as everyone else, but the story's tension leads to nothing. No change in endings, unlocks in other areas, just a portal. It was still fun though and I can't wait for more to come! Great game, okay DLC. 8/10 overall
