I've been waiting for a game like this for a long time. It's the retro equivalent of something like Skyrim. Deep in depth mechanics, a rich vibrant world to explore, and interesting characters and dialog. Always something new to discover and detailed map jam packed with tons to see and do. Every nook and crany is handcrafted with no wasted space. It is a decently challenging game and doesn't hold your hand. You're expected to be clever and figure things out on your own. Lots of complex puzzles, resource management, and deep RPG elements. Combat is difficult but fun and rewarding with lots of different weapons and ways to defeat enemies. There are two engaging factions to join each with interesting and engaging motivations depending on what you choose. There are also multiple ending with one secret ending more being more satisfying than the rest. An overall great RPG experience! Highly recommend!
