Dungeon Antiqua

Main game is only a few hours long. Post game content spikes in difficulty even on normal mode. Grinding will only take you so far as most of my stats capped before level 20, classes and gear choices matter more. Top down wizradry style maps with early final fantasy battle system. Chests randomize locations and refill everytime you leave the dungeon.

For the legend begins achievement, beat game on hard, it opens an area for second stone tablet

Absolutely garbage. Game is baby easy on normal. Hard isnt hard, its just beyond annoying. Everything has one shot kills. You have to solo final boss and failure means redoing every boss fight again. Enemy damage is so random and overtuned that strategy doesnt exist, you just blitz enemies down ASAP. Almost every enemy does AOE damage but all heals are singular so they will grind you down. Just dont do it. Not even worth it on sale.

My only real complaint is the static border art on either side of the screen with no option to disable it, ensuring that my time playing is limited, as I have no interest in permanently burning the images into my screen.
