Info on ARX
When Elite Dangerous first released on xbox preview you could only buy the skins using Frontier Points and have to go to an external site to purchase the cosmetics which you could never earn from gameplay before. Not to mention cosmetics were not basic game features before, they were meant for supporting developement. Also the original amount for FP was not proportional to the price (ie. 300 FP for $5.00 which didnt get much).
Now ARX has replaced FP, and on top of that you can earn them from just playing the game without having to buy them if you dont want to. While I do not agree with the weekly cap of 400, the choice is ultimately up to those who really want to. And unlike how EA and Activision did extra micro transactions just to line their pockets, every purchase made for ARX goes to fund the developement of this game, as it always has and will.
The choice is ultimately up to you, if you want to support FDEV go for it. These do not affect gameplay in any way except for visuals.
