Escape Dead Island

Theres a section with a boss, who you cannot beat without a weapon you find on the island, which would be fine if not for the fact that you cannot exit the boss areana without beating him. Basically softlocked me and forced me to restart the whole game. Was somewhat enjoyable up until this point.

Its a good game but omg is it such bull sometimes like how tf you expect me to kill 3 jump slashers when my guy cant even retreat to even have a chance everytime i run so i can kill them 3 of em just hit you one after the other then to make things worse the guy gets stuck after so i cant do anything and it just keeps happening its annoying

Escape dead island teeters from bland uninteresting gameplay to some of the most frustrating gameplay ive ever experienced. The blandness comes from the worst level design ive seen thus far with most of the game having you go through the same 4 areas. while doing this you also work with clunky combat that while okay gets really boring after the 1 hour mark and this game takes about 6 hours to complete. The stealth element just has you do the same takedown animation endlessly on dumb AI. The frustrating part come from the difficulty spikes having you face multiple enemies at once while your slow as hell character can barely make 3 hits before pausing and getting 2 shotted. The story is just a bland rip off of "get the scoop!" Like dead rising with characters that i dont like or know about and bad voice acting along with a protagnist that makes awful jokes. This along with the slow animations and awful checkpoints makes this chore to play.

Got softlocked into the dlc have to start new game because enemies are too strong for me at the point in the story. Was enjoyable up untill this point, don't go in the hatchs. 😐 uninstalling

Fun third person title. If you are into DE, you should enjoy this. It ain't groundbreaking, but it's good; don't believe the negativity!
