Exodemon

Most boomer-shooter fans will find this pretty easy. It's not a bad game, and can be 100% completed in a single sitting (2ish hours, maybe 3 depending on how long you take to complete levels). The locales can feel repetative if you aren't a fan of the setting, as it mostly explores the surrounding area (and inside) of a space-city with lots of crystals, caves, and lava. For those who have played Ratchet & Clank, the moon is sort of like planet Aridia. This may be a bug, but for most of the game, the same track played. Cycling through weapons can be a bit of a hassle. They definitely could have been bound to the d-pad or something so you wouldn't have to cycle through every firearm (pun intended) you own to equip the one you're looking for.

No Quick Resume. And who's idea was it to tie the hands to opposite triggers? Seriously a dumb idea. Other than these two quibbles, the game is great! Lots to explore. Graphics are clean and nicely pixelated. Music is a bop. Sound effects are old school, like the graphics. Movement is fluid and fast paced. Platforming is average, like most 1st person platformers it can be annoying. Enemies aren't the smartest, but they're pretty good at getting behind you and damaging from the back. Bodies stay around so it's easy to see where you've been. Levels are nicely designed. At the end of each level there's a tallying phase that's pretty satisfying. All in all, great game for the price; even tho' I only spent 3 bucks, I would've paid full price for it. Looking forward to future games from these devs!

Everything about this game is actually pretty great, but I wanna knock what kind of platforming god tested the last level. There's ONE jump that's absolutely impossible for me to time correctly and I'm almost convinced it's actually impossible. Not a single video walkthrough exists, apart from one that seems like it's for a different (perhaps earlier) version of the game, a version without this area. Its the one thing preventing me from finishing this otherwise almost perfect game. Without that one little BS jump, this would easily be 5 stars. It's a genuinely fun Doom clone, but if you like actually finishing the games you play, I honestly can't recommend you spend your money here.

What ya c is what ya get. Its definitely an homage to the 90s fps games like doom and duke nukem. Really wish there were more of these gems like this project warlock and ion fury. Love em all. Great game looking forward to trying to finish it.
