Good platformer buried under too many puzzles

More of a 3D puzzle platformer rather than an action adventure game. Feels like the throwback PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era platformers of yesteryear in a way. The worlds are beautiful, vibrant, and bustling with color. There's a cool orb shifting elemental mechanic. The combat is very simple. Puzzles.. there are a lot of them. A ton, with constant backtracking included. Without a map or navigation, its very easy to get lost. I wanted to like this game, but got frustrated and found the game to lose its steam after a few hours of puzzles.
