Fae Tactics

Lots of battle prep customizations that are important to match for each situation. Game rewards dedication. Downsides- Some bugs and no new game+, game will save you at final boss and you'd be forced to start from scratch after beating without a previous save. Overall though great, quirky little gem of a game.

The game doesn't do a very good job so far of explaining things like selecting the enemy to attack. I had to figure that out on my own. I am so used to older games making me select 'attack' then select my target based on the range capability of my selected character. Also no easy way to quit the game after I am finished for the night. Had to Alt+F4 to get it to quit as there was not a proper 'quit' selection on the menu. Other than those minor gripes, the game is amazing so far! Really brings back the nostalgia of yester-year!

So Far its good. A lot like FF tactics. Especially the Gameboy advance ones. It could do a better job showing you how to move and attack etc. It could also use a close button! looks great -runs great - combat is fun -so far story is a bit bland but the sprites look amazing. Really good.

Enjoyable turn based game,.

A serviceable "tactics" style game with easy to pick up combat (and surprising complexity to those who look deeper) with a few challenging fights you may have to return to with better scrolls and on a better in game day (which can affect both you and your foe) Why the low rating? A major bug prevents xbox users from accessing (spoiler) new game plus (and the achievement tied to it if thats your thing). Even beating the final boss multiple times assuming a fluke it will not make an end game save whether overwriting or making a new save slot. Couple that with it not even launching on a laptop (that had more than enough system requirements) and the odd crash on the series x (not that bad with how often the game autosaves) and you get something that can be quite hollow (at least until these major issues are fixed)
