Fearful Symmetry & the Cursed Prince

Really surprised how much I liked this one. Great level design. They ramp you in well and then hit you really hard at end. Only complaint is Nulan was a bit BS to unlock, but once you figure out how to do so, easy to enjoy rest of game.

I love puzzlers and overall this game is a good foundation for a game that never really pans out past its original concept. In this game you play 2 characters at the same time on a split screen. One character moves the opposite direction of the other while you avoid traps on both screens. There is 3 characters, 2 with special powers. That is about it. There is about 20x3 + 10 total levels(you are mostly replaying the same 20 levels with all 3 characters and 10 bonus levels) and you will likely beat all but a handful within a few tries. Good: Pixel art, music was good. No crashes. Bad: Shoehorned story made up of 20 sentences total. Easy, will take most players 4-6 hours(It took me 5 while spending 2 of those on 2-3 tough levels.) Ugly: Having unlockable characters with more abilities than your first character do the same 20 levels you already did is not a challenge nor good game design. Overall I paid $4 and think thats the max I feel someone should pay. Too short and simple.

Really nicely done puzzler with great level designs. The puzzles change as you progress adding unique elements into the mix at each turn. Totally recommended to fans of puzzles.

Game does NOT save progress! Did over 90% of the game ,came back the day after and the progress is all gone now

Not playable on PC without a controller? In the controls list there's no switch character button for keyboard. Which means that you can play 25ish% of the game from what I can tell. Controls are not customizable. I suppose it is intended to be played with a controller, but had I known playing with a keyboard wasn't an option, I wouldn't have purchased the game. If this is fixed, I would be happy to change my review.
